Rev. Jeanmarie Eck is the Senior Minister of Unity of Delray Beach, where she brings a dynamic blend of spiritual depth, creative expression, and transformational teaching to her ministry.

Her teaching style integrates metaphysical wisdom with practical application, empowering individuals to navigate life's challenges with clarity and spiritual confidence.

With more than 20 years in Unity, Rev. Jeanmarie is passionate about helping individuals awaken to their divine nature and live from a place of wholeness, love, and inner authority.

​

Her spiritual journey began in the Catholic tradition, where she developed a strong foundation in prayer and devotion. In her twenties, she discovered Unity and embraced its metaphysical teachings, recognizing God not as a distant judge, but as the ever-present light and love within all.

 

Rev. Jeanmarie is an ordained Unity minister and a Licensed Unity Teacher in Adult Education. She holds a Master of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Mississippi. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Music from Rollins College, graduating summa cum laude.

She served for nearly a decade as Associate Minister and later as Lead Associate Minister, as well as Director of Adult Education, at Unity of Houston, where she led Wednesday Night Services, developed thriving educational programs and mentored ministerial candidates, Licensed Unity Teachers, and spiritual leaders.

​

Her ministry is enriched by her background as a professional performing artist, having performed in leading roles across New York City and the U.S. This creative foundation continues to inform her engaging teaching style and her ability to bring spiritual principles to life in meaningful and memorable ways. 

​

Rev. Jeanmarie is a certified spiritual director through Perkins School of Theology and serves the broader Unity movement as a student advisor for Unity's Spiritual Direction program, a ministerial mentor, and a contributing writer for Unity's blessing booklets.

​

She also served on the Board of Trustees for Unity Worldwide Ministries, where she held leadership roles as First and Second Vice-Chair and contributed to initiatives supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion across the movement.

​

Since arriving in Delray Beach in 2024, Rev. Jeanmarie has focused on cultivating a vibrant, spiritually engaged community grounded in Unity principles, meaningful connection, and opportunities for personal and collective transformation.

​

She lives in South Florida with her husband David, their daughter Felicity, and their rescue dogs. She is also a Troop Leader for Unity of Delray Beach's multilevel Girl Scouts troop, reflecting her commitment to mentoring and empowering the next generation.
