Unity of Delray Beach :: Board Members and Staff: Kitty Grummer: Office Assistant

Marilyn was born in Savannah, Georgia, and is a longtime resident of Delray Beach.

She attended her first Unity church service in June 1963. Unity of Delray Beach was meeting in the Upper Room on Atlantic Avenue while the present church building was under construction. She remembers feeling – as so many have – that she had come home. It was an inner knowing that she was right where she was supposed to be. She became a member November 19, 1963.

Marilyn has been attending the Thursday morning prosperity Coffee since its inception February 10, 1994, and served as a Prayer Chaplain for three years.

In addition to serving Unity of Delray Beach as an administrative assistant, Marilyn has been a certified Yoga teacher for more than 30 years, and holds Hatha Yoga classes in nearby communities and here at the church.

Since 1980, she has taken bicycling vacations all over the United States, Canada and Europe.

She feels Unity of Delray Beach has been greatly blessed by its extraordinary ministers – Eva Rosencrans, Mary Kupferle, Richard Barnes, Greg Barrette and Nancy Norman.

Marilyn is honored to work with so many loving, dedicated people who are here to serve in whatever situation may arise.
