Joy has been a Unity of Delray Beach member for more than 5 years. She’s a participant in the Thursday morning Prosperity Coffee, and a 4-time graduate of the 4T classes.

   She has been a Palm Beach County resident for over forty years, and has 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

   Locally, nationally and internationally she is a well known figure in the fitness world, teaching, training, and consulting for some of the biggest firms in the industry such as Reebok.

   For many years she has specialized in program development for the age 40 and up market and trains other fitness professionals in the techniques and skills needed to teach those programs.

   She’s certified as a Health Fitness Director with the American College of Sports Medicine.

   For fifteen years she owned and operated The Fitness Connection, which grew to three large facilities in central and northern Palm Beach County.

   Trained as a dancer, she was a Radio City Music Hall Rockette in New York City.

   Joy was also the original Director of Fitness for The Greenhouse Spa at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach where she designed and equipped the fitness facility prior to its opening, developed state of the art fitness programs, and hired and trained the staff. Once it was firmly established, she left to continue her focus on other good health and fitness pursuits.
