John has been an active Unity member and Usher/Greeter since 1994 and co-head Usher/Greeter for the last 2 years. He and his wife Becky, who introduced him to Unity, were married 10 years ago by Nancy Norman at Unity of Delray Beach. They enjoy living in South Florida and reside in Lighthouse Point.

John came to South Florida in 1979 when transferred to Fort Lauderdale with the then “Bell System” telephone network, from Baltimore Maryland where he was born and raised. After nearly 40 years of working in telecommunications management, he retired in 2002.

Now that both of Becky and John are retired they are trying to take more trips with their travel trailer; and at least once a month for a long weekend. They are very active in the lives of their three beautiful grandchildren who are 2, 4 and 6 years old. They bring them much joy and satisfaction, and watching them grow is a wonderful experience
